Yes you can. However, membership has certain privileges. For example, members pay a reduced fee for certain activities; they have voting rights for Center issues and they can serve on the advisory council.
Some activities and classes held at the Adult Wellness Center require advance registration along with a program fee. Payment is required at the time of registration to secure your space. Payment may be made by cash, checks or credit card. In the event that there are insufficient registrants for a particular class or activity, the class will be cancelled; fees paid will be refunded.
The Adult Wellness Center is pleased to offer a variety of volunteer opportunities such as instructors, administrative support, group facilitators, committee representatives, program coordinators, etc. When you complete your membership application, there is a checklist requesting your volunteer preferences. For the safety of all concerned, we ask all volunteers to complete a Volunteer Application, a Volunteer Release Form and a background check in accordance with State law.
Generally pets are not allowed in the Center. However, service animals such as guide dogs are allowed for individuals with qualifying disabilities.
Our mission is to provide an environment where all participants can enjoy an enhanced quality of life. If a conflict should arise, you are advised to take the following steps.
