Our Certified Group Instructors are highly trained to provide health seekers safe and effective exercise programs. Group Exercise programs are proven to improve physical wellness, enhance overall well-being, and heighten self-mastery for a better quality of life. We offer classes for all levels of fitness and interests. Our classes range from aerobics, spinning and aquatics, to yoga, Tai Chi and Zoomba. Terri is a fitness professional with over 25 years experience in group fitness and personal training. She received her Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from The University of Oklahoma. In addition to managing corporate, club and hospital fitness facilities, Terri was co -founder and owner of a wellness consulting and management company that provided services for fitness Centers in Oklahoma City and Ft. Worth. She brings her passion for fitness into the classroom, and loves teaching everything from high energy spin classes to relaxing yoga. She enjoys working with personal training clients to help them achieve fitness related goals. Terri is also an avid cyclist and runner who loves to develop cross training or sport specific programs for those interested in starting or improving in a sport!

Dee Ann has been involved in the fitness industry since the early 1980’s. Her certifications include national certifications through the American Council on Exercise for both Group Fitness and Personal Training. Dee Ann’s main focus is working one on one with clients in the pool with additional personal training certification through the United States Water Fitness Association. Join Dee Ann for group fitness classes which include Fitness First, Chair Fit Combo, Chair Yoga, and Aqua Tabata. With her passion being senior adult fitness, Dee Ann has found her perfect home base here at Healthy Living OKC.

Monica has been involved in fitness since she was on her High school Rowing Team, and she continued that passion after marriage and family by running in marathons and yoga classes. She got her Engineering degree from Michigan State University, and in recent years has become one of the most respected and skilled Yoga Instructor/ Group Fitness Instructor in OKC! She works with adults of all ages and fitness levels, and her greatest hope is to spread her joy of health and wellness to as many people as she can!

Patti has worked in the fitness industry for 10 years as both a group fitness instructor and personal trainer. She enjoys teaching many formats of group fitness classes, Pilates mat classes, circuit and interval training, and spin and tone classes. She also provides personal training for individuals as well as small group training. Her passion is fitness and healthy living, and working with people to make them stronger, healthier, and happier individuals!

Irene Brooks started her career in 1986 with an NFPA certification in group fitness. She found her love for kickboxing when she joined the ATP cardio kickboxing group and soon after, locally certified with the Yoga School of Nichols Hills. In 1998 she became nationally certified by ACE in group fitness and in 2008 became a personal trainer also by ACE. Always looking to learn new things she has many other certifications under her belt such as Silver Sneakers, Barre Above, Meditation, Livestrong, Spin and Yogafit. Her philosophy is to always keep things fun and challenging for the mind as well as the body. She will always try to introduce new ideas and concepts to help clients meet their goals or spice up their workouts.

Betty Edmunds has been a water fitness instructor since 2008, starting her career at the Daily YMCA in Bixby, Oklahoma. She holds National Aquatic Certifications (Master Water Fitness Instructor and Coordinator of Water Fitness Programs) with the United States Water Fitness Association, Inc.(USWFA). She is passionate in her role as a water fitness instructor at the YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City, in addition to Healthy Living OKC. Her goal is to create a pool environment where everyone feels welcome and enjoys their workout experience. She brings to her classes high energy workouts to music with emphasis on balance. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling the world with her husband.
