More than being free from illness, wellness is a dynamic process of change and growth; it is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life.  When well, we are operating at our maximum level of human functioning.  Part of our mission as humans is to take control of our minds.  When we take control, we begin to realize that whatever we experience from moment to moment is highly dependent upon how we choose to focus our attention.  Why, then, does wellness matter?  Wellness matters because everything we do and every emotion we feel relates to our well being which directly affects our actions and emotions. How to Stay Stressed Out
